CMS Announces MLN Event to Discuss New Electronic System for PRRB Appeals

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be holding a Medicare Learning Network (MLN) event specifically for Part A providers, Medicare contractors, and other PRRB stakeholders to discuss the benefits of using the Office of Hearings Case and Document Management System (OH CDMS). The call is scheduled for Tuesday, February 5th from 1:30 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Online registration is available at the following link: https://blh.ier.intercall.com/
This event was announced in the MLN Matters Special Edition 19004 bulletin. As described in the OH CDMS Provider Reimbursement Review Board Module: External User Manual, the OH CDMS is a web-based portal for parties to enter and maintain their cases and to correspond with the PRRB. The new system went live on August 16, 2018.
During this scheduled event, PRRB staff will discuss how to access the system and provide an overview of the system’s capabilities. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation. Attendees are encouraged to email questions in advance to PRRB@cms.hhs.gov with “Office of Hearings Case and Document Management System Conference Call” in the subject line.
