Robert “Bob” Trainor has served on the Board of Advisors of GME Solutions since 2008. Bob’s primary responsibility with the Firm is handling nationwide governmental relationships with the Medicare Administrative Contractors (“MACs”). He has over 40 years of experience working with Medicare Management (now the MACs), including serving for his last 20 years as Audit and Reimbursement Manager. In that capacity, Bob was responsible for auditing and handling reopenings and appeals for hospitals in Southern California, all the hospitals in Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and Saipan. Additionally, he has conducted training classes for staff, providers, and the US Attorney offices in Los Angeles and San Diego. Bob graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in accounting, and later obtained an MBA from California Lutheran University.
